In case you missed the vlog or the instagram pictures in real time, here is the compilation of my Recorded Weeks #6. This was a rough week. I dealt with low energy, lack of focus, daily allergy headaches, and ended the week with overwhelm. See if I make it back to normal in the next installment! I’ve gathered these personal adventures below for your enjoyment and my recollection and so I can look back at my overwhelm and nod knowingly.
I'm not quite comfortable sharing this, but a friend of mine exhorted me once: “Making writing public is good for people. Exposing vulnerability is brave.” So, today I encourage you to write some affirmations. Maybe you aren’t these good things all the time, but by instilling in yourself a belief in the goodness God put there, you will focus on that goodness more and practice it more.
If you have goals, I suggest that you join a mastermind group. 🖤 I joined one last summer and have been amazed by the impact. Even though the ladies change over time, it is always a gathering of beautiful, dedicated, impassioned, striving women and the accountability, wisdom, and encouragement is unbelievably uplifting. There are so many groups out there for free: find one on @meetup, @facebook, wherever! (One word of caution: you get out what you put in. No effort = no gain.)
